These scans were
done using a flat-bed
scanner, with no
reduction or
enlargment of the
image. Computer
processing was used
to re-create the
scanned three -
dimmensional objects
as two-dimmensional
images. A moving
light in some of the
light-boxes imitates
the movement of a
scanner's light. At any
given moment, only a
strip of the image is
revealed by the
passing light.
